Gayle force century evens honours: 3rd Test, Day 2 (Perth)
West Indies captain Chris Gayle struck the 5th fastest ever century (102 in 70 balls) in Test history and put on 136 for the opening wicket with Travis Dowlin (55) to leave the test finely poised. Ramnaresh Sarwan (42 not out) and Narsingh Deonarine (10 not out) guided the tourists through to 214-2 at stumps. Dhoni inspires last over win: 3rd ODI (St Lucia)
Skipper Mahendra Dhoni (46 not out) saw India home as India took a 2-1 lead with one game left courtesy of a thrilling six-wicket victory. Rain delays interrupted play four times, but Ramnaresh Sarwan top-scored as the hosts made 186-7 from 27 overs. Dinesh Karthik (47) and Gautam Gambhir (44) added 84 for the first wicket as they ended up at 159-4 with a ball remaining. 3rd ODI, St Lucia. July 2009.

Yuvraj Singh smashed 131 as India hung on for a 20-run victory in the first one-day international against West Indies. Entering at 32-2, Yuvraj struck 10 fours and seven sixes from 102 balls to propel India to 6-339. Matt Prior hit 87 as England beat West Indies by 58 runs to secure the final one-day international and take the series 2-0 - after the first ODI was washed out. Prior top-scored in a 149-run partnership with Owais Shah (75) as England posted 328-7 - their sixth highest one-day total and highest ever against the Windies. The Windies batsmen never threatened with only Shivnarine Chanderpaul (68) and Denesh Ramdin providing any fight to get them to 270. 3rd ODI, Birmingham, May 2009.

England took a 1-0 lead with one match remaining in the one-day international series after thrashing West Indies by six wickets with 14 overs to spare. Paul Collingwood enjoyed himself with both bat (47 not out) and ball (3-16) as England cruised home.
